Cafe Capriccio is an intimate Restaurant in downtown Albany, New York, located near Empire State Plaza and the Pepsi Arena. 

The Cafe has been open for more than a decade and has consistently been praised as one of the Capital areas' best. 

In 1984 Vinod Chhabra, food critic for the Albany Times Union, rated Cafe Capriccio top on the list of the best restaurants of 1984, saying "this cozy little basement operation...is probably the most interesting restaurant in Albany today." The Cafe has maintained its unique reputation throughout its existence and was chosen by Metroland Magazine as Albany's Best Restaurant for 1995 and as the Best Old World Gourmet Italian Restaurant in 1996 and again in 1998.  Like fine wine, we expect to improve in '99 and step convivially into the milennium."
